A Familiar Face part 1

It was a regular day in Ponyville, Angel the Rabbit was out foraging for but was getting a little too close to the edge of the EverFree Forest. He stopped eating Grass as soon as he sensed something nearby in the EverFree Forest undergrowth. His sharp Rabbit senses were on high max. He looked carefully into the forest to discover a pair of amber-colored eyes staring at him from the undergrowth. He freaked out and the Creature emerged as a Pygmy Griffin, Griffy's species, but this time; a female, ready to eat Angel.

Angel ran in panic and bumped into Fluttershy while she was watering the flowers with a plastic garden-watering container in her mouth. She droped her tool as soon as Angel alerted her.

"Angel, what's the matter?", asked Fluttershy, "Are you scared of something?"

Angel nodded in agreement and pointed at what was chasing him. Fluttershy gasped in horror to see the very hungry female Pygmy Griffin flying straight towards her and Angel, only wanting to get Angel specifically.

The Pygmy Griffin tackled Fluttershy over and grabbed her throat with her talons.

"Mkonaka juuka Sungupahkee, Faraslio!", hissed the female Griffin in the sme language Griffy speaks, Gabbagonian (the language of Gabbagon, an area from the EverFree Forest).

"I-I-I", stammered Fluttershy in fear, "Who are you?"

"Ahawha?", asked the Pygmy Griffin, not understanding the language Fluttershy was speaking to her. She did let her go, only to have Fluttershy run away in fear with Angel close behind.





Meanwhile, in the town park, Griffy was trying to show the rest of his friends how to eat naturally when you're lost in the middle of nowhere. The five Ponies didn't find it that hard to eat Grass and flowers (since they're herbivores), Griffy found it very easy to eat fruit, flowers, Worms and Bugs (since his kind is omnivorous) but Spike was still wanting to eat gems.

"Spike, gems are not really all that healthy to eat", reminded Griffy, "Now please eat some of those Beetles and Snails please, like the carnivore you really are"

Fluttershy suddenly zoomed into the scene with Angel hanging on her back for his life.

"Where's the fire Flutter?", asked Rainbow Dash.

"It's going to eat Angel", Fluttershy said in fear.

"What is?", asked Rarity.

"That", said Fluttershy, pointing with her hoof to the trail behind her.

They all then saw the female of Griffy's kind charging on all fours straight for the group in an attempt to eat Angel.

"No other Pygmy Griffin's going to take my turf", said Griffy with and glare.

He leaped at the female rival and battled aggressively with her. Spike, Angel and the Ponies watched the battle from a safe distance. Griffy finally pinned the rival female down but suddenly noticed something familiar about her.

"Wait a minute", he spoke to her in Gabbagonian, "Are you Oshlie Masterton?"

He let the female pull herself off the ground and she wondered about him.

"Who are you?", she asked in Gabbagonian, "And how do you know my name?"

"I'm Griffy", he replied.

"Griffy?", said Oshlie, stunned by what she was hearing.

The two suddenly got very happy and began jumping around each other, speaking in Gabbagonian to each other; saying that it was great to see each other again.

"Jamboha, dadahine Oshlie!", said Griffy with joy.
"Jamboha, ndu'ana Griffy!", said Oshlie with joy.

"Hold it!", said Rainbow, jumping right in between the two Pygmy Griffins, "Why aren't you two doing hardcore turf fights anymore?"

"This is Oshlie", said Griffy with a smile, "She's my twin sister!"

"SISTER!?", said Spike and the six Ponies together with surprise.

"We hatched at the same time", continued Griffy, "And I think I may have told you all this before, but Rarity is a lot like Oshlie in a way"

"Then she and I will get along just fine", said Rarity with a smile.

"It'll be interestin' to have another Griffin lahke Griffy 'round here", said Applejack.
