The Marmoset Attack part 3The same male and female Marmosets from the last two chapters snuck through the bushes until they reached Twilight and Spike's home. The two other Marmosets were following the two, until the the pair told them to stay put in their own language. They were indeed technically the troop's leaders.
Meanwhile, inside the Tree, Twilight Sparkle was reading a book on Primates for she was trying to understand more about the ferocity of the extinct, savage, Dragon-eating Apes known as "Humans". Spike was reading another book, but this one was about extinct species of Dragons, so he could understand his own taxonomic evolution. There was then a knock on the door.
Spike rushed towards the door, opened it up but then made an awkward face at what just knocked on the door: a Creature that looked like Applejack's hat, except that it had sticks pointing out of the underside and had a Marmoset-like tail sticking out from the back.
"Great", sighed Spike, "Another freak Creature. Twilight! It's for you!"
The Marmoset Attack part 2MeanwhileIn Sweet Apple Acres, Winona the Dog was just taking a nap under one of the orchard's Apple Trees when she felt something hard clunk on her head, causing her to wake up. It was an Apple that had fallen from the Tree she was under. Winona looked up to see the male and female Marmosets that tortured Angel from earlier now joined by two new Marmosets. The 4 Monkeys were laughing at Winona with amusement because they were the ones who threw that Apple at Winona in the first place.
Winona got up and growled at the little Primates. One of the Monkeys jumped out the Tree, landed on Winona's back and yanked her collar, causing the poor Dog to choke badly. The Marmoset let go and Winona collapsed on the ground with exhaustion from that choke, trying to catch her breath. The Marmoset on Winona's back screeched up to the three others and then four Marmosets rushed out away from the Tree, carrying Winona's collar with them. Winona wondered what the Primates were up to.
They all then hid i
The Marmoset Attack part 1: prologueIt was an ordinary partly cloudy summer day in Ponyville.
Angel the Rabbit was out foraging for food, wanting to find food independently for once without Fluttershy's aid. Unfortunately, the picnic area he had chosen was once again near the Everfree Forest, exposed and flanked by a full line of Tree cover. He grazed on the Grass until he heard some sort of screech-like hooting noise coming from the Trees' tops above. He then felt something small and hard hit his noggin. It was an acorn, but what threw it? He heard that screech hoot again followed by more screech hoots from the same species of Creature doing all this to poor Angel.
Angel wisely stepped away from the forest's edge and leaped over to Fluttershy's vegetable garden, pulled out a Carrot and prepared to eat it until the same mysterious Creatures snuck up from behind, kicked his rump and immediately snatched his Carrot away and ate it. Angel turned around to see the culprits, a male and female Common Marmoset chewing on the fr
The Date part 3Later on, Spitfire and Griffy led both Rainbow Dash and Soarin' to the top of a very high mountain outside of Ponyville. They let Soarin' and Rainbow sit on the highest cliff, overlooking the sunset. Griffy and Spitfire hid in the bushes nearby to observe the two lovers.
"Is it hot up here, or is it just me?" asked Soarin', feeling sweat coming out of his skin as he sat next to Rainbow.
"It may not be just you", said Rainbow Dash, feeling herself sweat too.
"It would appear that those two need some help", Spitfire said to Griffy, "They're talking about sweating, how awkward is that?"
"Let me set the right mood", replied Griffy to Spitfire, "Check this out"
He then stuck his beak out of the bushes and tried whistling a crazy-sounding rap tune. Spitfire poked him to tell him stop.
"A little too aggressive now, Griff", said Spitfire, trying to sound polite, "I'm not trying to infringe on your creativity or anything, we just need something more calmer for the right mood here for these two
The Date part 2Later that day, Griffy was searching in the air for Soarin'. He then accidently bumped into Spitfire, without her uniform on.
"You're Spitfire!", said Griffy with excitement, "From the Wonderbolts team!"
"The one and only", replied Spitfire with pride.
"I'm Griffy, that famous Pygmy Griffin from Ponyville. Huge fan of your work, by the way", continued Griffy, "By the way, have you seen your partner, Soarin', anywhere?"
"Funny", replied Spitfire, "I'm trying to run a quote-on-quote arrend for him. And it's to find his true love"
"I think we maybe on the same track to play Cupid here", said Griffy with an intrigued expression.
"You got that right, little dude!", said Spitfire, happily.
Griffy then rounded up Rainbow Dash and Spitfire rounded up Soarin'. They both brought the two lovers the underground archives beneath Griffy's Tree in the park through a secret back door that looked like a basement door behind Griffy's Tree.
"Spitfire, what are you doing?", asked Soarin', puzzled at why h
The Date part 1The following is a sequel to another Fanfic of mine here on DA, called "Soarin's Secret".
It was an ordinary day up in Cloudsdale. Soarin' was just taking a few laps through the air when suddenly; he lost control of his own flight, due to his mind taking him away on a personal fantasy of his.
Soarin' then found himself in a crashed position in a field of green Grass. Spitfire suddenly flew over to him, in hopes of finding out what was up with him.
"Soarin', you seem to be a little bit distracted today", said Spitfire "Is there something I need to know?"
"Well", mumbled Soarin' as he pulled himself off the ground, "Remember when those huge Ants with swords attacked Equestria?"
"Oh yeah", said Spitfire, "You fell in love with that rainbow-manned girl. Is SHE the reason you're messing up?"
Soarin' just blushed and turned around to hide his bashful expression.
"Oh c'mon dude", said Spitfire, giving Soarin' a noogie, "I'm your friend and you can tell me almost anything, and it's clear to se
