Literature Text

A few millenniums later, in Equestria's capital city of Canterlot, a male and female Alicorn ruled as the king and queen. After they reached their elder age, the two decided to retire in a small cottage in the Everfree Forest, though these two still in charge of controlling the planet's movement around the sun, making day and night happen properly.

Their dark-colored daughter married a shiny gray male Alicorn and they became the next leaders of Canterlot. The two then, at some point, had a little white daughter they named Celestia, and they sensed there was something unique about her and her future. Sometime after Celestia's birth, the two then had a light brown son they named Geo.

As the two Alicorn foals grew older, they had a lot of fun together. Celestia really liked her little brother, Geo. Geo liked his big sister as well.

Later on, Celestia and Geo's parents had another baby. It was a dark blue female they named Luna. While Luna grew older, she was still the younger runt of the three siblings, yet her older brother and older sister still cared for her, even when she acted like a baby (which makes sense because Luna was still a toddler then).

When Celestia reached her teen years, she wanted desperately to discover her talent and earn something all Alicorns get when they discover their personal talents, known as Flank Symbols.*

She tried almost everything, but failed miserably. She then came to believe she could not do anything right and felt like a loser.

One day, teenage Celestia and her younger siblings found that their father was acting rather bizarre, asking for each of them to make an amulet that would control time. The three decided to go ask their retired grandparents about this.

While they searched in the Everfree Forest, a small earthquake struck and Geo discovered his talent when he used his powers to halt the earthquake, receiving his Flank Symbol in the process.

When they found the cottage, their grandfather was just about to hit death from his great age. While he was dying, he attempted to make the night come forth but died during the process. Luna discovered her talent as soon as she took action and brought the night forth and received her Flank Symbol.

The three's grandmother showed them that their father had been tossed away into the forest and was staying with his parent-in-laws, trying to get better. It was clear that the one who looked like the king back in Canterlot was an imposter.

By The crack of dawn, the siblings, their parents and grandmother gathered forth to unmask the imposter. The imposter began to change shape, revealing to be Kurayami. The dark Entity swallowed in its three Raven minions and the casted out great dark clouds all around the world so that neither day nor night would shine again. It also abosrbed some Baboons and Monitor Lizards. Using the energies of the Ravens, Baboons and Monitor, Kurayami had a new form that was a fusion of the three absorbed species.

The king and queen were imprisoned in a cube of stasis energy and Celestia found herself in some barren mountains, battling the dark overlord with all her courage and strength. In the battle, her grandmother jumped in and sacrificed herself to save her eldest grandchild.

Celestia's grandmother's final words to Celestia were that she must live on and be strong and always remember her. She ended her last sentence by calling Celestia, "Princess Celestia". Celestia then took her grandmother's crown and then put it on her head and decided to keep it forever more. She still wears her grandmother's crown to this very day.

With the help of her two siblings, Celestia managed to defeat Kurayami and the dark Being disappeared, reminding them that it would return.

Celestia then discovered her talent when she used her abilities to clear the clouds and make the day come forth, receiving her Flank Symbol in the process.

The parents were free and Celestia decided to keep her title "Princess" because it would not let her forget about her grandmother's last words to her.

* The Alicorns had even granted Ponies Flank Symbols as well, long long ago. But for reasons unknown, the Ponies called their versions "Cutie Marks".

So Geo's the middle brother, huh? I'd thought he'd be the oldest of them.

"Flank symbols..." Sounds a bit dull, but a nice original name.
