Description
Chalicotherium sp. is an ancient genus of Perissodactyl (Odd-Toed Ungulate), related to Rhinos, Equines and Tapirs (but more closey related to Equines, despite their Gorilla-like walking).
These 3 meter-tall herbivores lived in the forests and scrubs of China, Uganda, India, Kenya, Germany, France, Pakistan, Greece, Slovakia and Canada from the Late Paleogene to Late Neogene period (from the Late Oligocene to Early Pliocene epoch), 28.4-3.6 million years BC.
One of the primary predators to these browsers was the Canine-like Hyaenodon.
Rarity is shocked to find that she is distantly related to one of these things.
