Quest for the Elements: chapter 3

As the unseen Creature began to step out of the bushes, Gorgak pulled his head back into the undergrowth and Sunnote and Eclipse hugged eachother for comfort. And out of the bushes came...a male Raccoon.

"Well looky 'ere!" said the Raccoon in a strange accent, "Looks lahke ah scared some Ponies bah accident. Hehehe!"

Eclipse and Sunnote were releaved that it was not something that would eat them.

"It 'bout tahme ah introduce mahself", said the Raccoon, "Mah name Buford"

"Pardon me", said Eclipse, "But what kind of accent is that you have?"

"It's Raccoojun", said Buford, "It's a dialect of Ponytalk. Exists onleh here in Raccoon Bayou. Ya'll must be knew 'round here, huh?"

"We are actually with a very big group right now", said Sunnote, "We're on our way to find Empress Bota and-"

"Wait, Empress Bota?" interupted the Raccoon, "Well den ah can help ya'll out. Ah've always gotten it from mah family. Ah still do and ah also get it from de Fireflies. Did ya'll also know dat Fireflies ain't Flies at all, but Beetles instead?"

"That's pretty interesting", said Sunnote, intrigued.

"Can these glowing Insects help us all out?" asked Eclipse.

"Dey sure can, 'sher!" replied Buford.

Buford then clapped his front paws twice and all the Fireflies in the area began to glow their brightest. Gorgak watched grom nerby and alerted the rest of the group about what Sunnote and Eclipse had found for guidence out of a Raccoon and a huge mass of bioluminescent, nocturnal Insects.

"Let's get goin' down de bayou, 'sher!" anounced the Raccoon, "Follow de flashing Bugs!"

While Buford and Sunnote raced along the ground, following the hundreds of Fireflies, everyone else rode on Gorgak's back as he flew overhead, watching the Fireflies. Sunnote was on the ground with Buford because she wanted a good look at the bioluminescence of the Fireflies.














Meanwhile, in the realm of evil, Comet Tail was standing in fear as the inventor of evil, Kurayami, approached him to hear about any new reports.

"M-M-Master", stammered Comet, "The represenatives of the EOH are on their way with allies"

"Excellent", responded the dark entity.

"Excellent? What do you mean by that?" asked Comet.

"They are all going to fall right into my trap. And with allies by their side, it will be more lives to torment", said Kurayami.
