The Great Breakout: Chapter 4

After Oakbreeze gave Shining Armor all the details of which six criminals had escaped (not knowing that there was also a seventh on the loose as well), Shining began to pace back and forth aroudn the picnic table. The 8 friends and Oakbreeze hoped he was feeling okay.

"This is possibly one of the worst crisises the country of Equestria has ever faced", said Shining with a worried look on his face, "Six of the most dangerous criminals in Canterlot's custody have escaped!"

The 8 friends and Oakbreeze looked at each other with shock at the sound of this bad news.

"I think I know what that haunting feeling I've been having lately is now", said Shining, "It's those specific criminals, they want revenge on me since I'm the captain of the guard, despite the fact that I was not the one who arrested them, the other guards did"

"What are these crooks like?" asked Spike.

"Well, let's see", said Shining. He then began to tell them all each criminals backstory.

He told them the Black Orangutan's backstory.*

He then told them about how Ultracheetah, the male Cheetah, had traveled a great distance away from his homeland (which is Zecora's homeland), for he was specifically after Zecora the Zebra. Along the way, he came to the city of Chimponzoicia and got some really high-tech gear from the Chimpanzees who run that city. The gear allowed this guy to run faster than a normal Cheetah, at about 70 mph (faster than a normal Cheetah, but not faster than a Sailfish). He then gave himself the title, "Ultracheetah". And he went back to hunting for Zecora. Ultracheetah tracked her down to Equestria, but as soon as he arrived there, he got so infatuated with the many Ponies to prey upon. He was eventually arrested by the Canterlot police, after attempting to eat some of the locals in Canterlot. Celestia felt bad for him, for he had gone mad with his new power of super speed that was fueled by technology.

Shining then told them about ToxoBeetle's backstory in which she hatched out of her egg as a normal Bombardier Beetle grub with her siblings in the park of Ponyville. As she grew older, into adult stage, this female Beetle found that her acidic spray (which any Bombardier Beetle can do) was abnormally toxic, more toxic than the average Bombardier Beetle. Giving herself the title "ToxoBeetle", she began using this unusually powerful spray of hers as an advantage, spraying larger Animals (mainly Ponies) if she wanted their food or something. She even got the tatoo of a Pony skull with crossbones pasted onto her exoskeleton by a Praying Mantis merchant. The Canterlot police force was called over to deal with this Beetle who was not using her acid in defense, but rather for her own selfish desires. She was caught and taken to the Canterlot prison. Luna noticed the Beetle's problem with being diabolical and felt very bad for her.

Shining then told them about how Land Eel was once living the life of a normal Electric Eel in the rivers of the Natooli Jungle, this male Electric Eel was captured by scientist Ponies in order to test out their new intelligence-increasing pills. Once he gained high intelligence, he began to help around the lab with these Pony scientists. They gave him some tablet pills that could keep him moist at all times and move around on land, thus giving him the name "Land Eel". They even gave Land Eel a mechanical collar to wear that could generate as many pills as he wanted. When Land Eel did not do a good enough job in cleaning the floor one day, he blamed it all on the Ponies themselves for ever making tile floors in the first place. He then went rogue and tried using his normal Electric bite (typical of an Electirc Eel) on Ponies, just because he hated them all now. He was eventually captured by the Canterlot police and brought to the Canterlot prison. Geo noticed Land Eel's misery and felt bad for him.

Shining then told them about how Sharka once was a normal Longfin Mako Shark living in the Great Equestrian Ocean (the ocean between Equestria's home continent and the Draconequuses' home continent). This female Shark had, one day, been captured by the Chimpanzees of Chimponzoica. She was brought to their most intricate labrotory in the whole city of Chimponzoicia and given an injection that increased her intelligence. The Chimps even gave her astronaut-like gear that allows her to hover in the air when on land, including a helmet with ocean water in it. Giving herself the name "Sharka" (after hearing the Chimpanzees calling her a Shark), she traveled to the Pony territories and decided to know what Pony tastes like. She even broke into certain orphanges to eat the young and helpless foals. Once Sharka reached Canterlot, the police arrested her for such criminal acts. Cadence noticed this Cartilaginous Fish's insane behaviour and felt bad for her.

Shining then told them about how SplitPony used to be a regular male Pony, of the Earth Pony race. He had lived a normal life as an etertainer in the city of Las Pegasus (so his Cutie Mark is that of a crazy face for his funny talent). One day, after a horrible accident with a fire torch trick, he ended up getting a permanent fire scar on his face. It also somehow caused him to end up having a stereotypical split personality. One side of him acting calm while the other side acts more violent. Thus, with his newly-created split personality, Steven (or SplitPony, as he renamed himself) quit his job as an entertainer and went out as a jewel-thieving criminal. Once he reached the capital city of Canterlot, SpitPony attempted to steal from a local jewelry store but ended up caught by the police and thrown into the Canterlot prison. Bota noticed this guy's problem and felt bad for him.










Meanwhile, back in Canterlot, the mysterious seventh escapee was sneaking through the dark allies in the city.

"Revenge is going to be sweet", he said to himself.
