Wrath of Makombo: part 1

The next morning, Ponyville was already bussling with activity from Ponies to non-Ponies. Griffy the Pygmy Griffin was just walking down the street, off to visit his good female friend Fluttershy, when he suddenly bumped into the mayor.

"Hello there, Griffy", said the mayor, "By the way can you keep a secret?"

"Indeed I can", he replied.

"You remember when that Gabby Gums thing was happening?" she said, "And that report of me dying my mane gray? Well guess what, I was actually attempting to die my mane pink to not look old and that whole Gabby Gums thing jazzed the whole story up, just like all those other lies written"

"You don't need to hide your middle-aged color", said Griffy, "You already look good with your normal gray mane"

"Aaaawww, thanks", said the mayor with a smile.

Griffy continued on his way.

Meanwhile, Fluttershy was already exiting her home to see if her close male friend was there yet. She then suddenly bumped into a really familiar face. Cornelius, the former asassain Pegasus Pony, was standing right there, looking quite happy and bright. And to make him even more interesting to look at, he was wearing a pair of glasses.

"Um...hello...Cornelius", mumbled Fluttershy, in her naturally shy voice, "Why are you wearing glasses?"

"The doctor said that my vision was begining to disfunction, so I baught these glasses", replied Cornelius, "Also, my girlfriend thinks I look really good in these"

"Your girlfriend?" asked Fluttershy, "Oh, I remember, you're dating Spitfire, captain of the Wonderbolts"

"I better get moving now", said Cornelius, "I'm off to see my love. I tell you, the Wonderbolts are lead by an angel"
