Today, a total solar eclipse was visible within a band covering parts of North America, stretching from Mexico to Canada and covering the contiguous United States. We all know what a solar eclipse is, but a total solar eclipse occurs when the Moon's apparent diameter is larger than the Sun's, blocking all direct sunlight, turning day into darkness.

Me and my family and friends got to observe it with special glasses to protect our retinas. And yes, things got temporarily darker and colder during the springtime afternoon.

Coming soon, some art for yet another concept of mine. A nonsensical comedy animated series called Clyde, Ivan, and Moe.

The three titular characters are a cockroach, and iguana, and mosquito who live in terrariums in a live creature exhibit inside a big museum in New Fork City, USA - yes, I said fork. Whenever the museum is closed, they and the other exhibited live terrarium animals leave their terrariums to party, as well as explore the rest of the museum (occasionally even venturing outside the museum).

Moe the mosquito is not the brightest, but he's still happy and optimistic, and has a big imagination.

Ivan the iguana is the brains of trio, always wanting to learn more of what the museum has to offer. He's also cautious and a bit cowardly when danger threatens.

Clyde the cockroach is the leader of the three, though he's full of himself and sometimes hot-tempered.

Other characters include:

Willy the wasp who's always making fun of our trio whenever something goes ary.

Tim the curious-acting toad.

Paul the ant who's not from the museum. He occasionally sneaks in to steal food from the trash. He has bizarre customs that his colony is well known for in the ant world.

Natalie the laid back, sometimes sassy, newt who's can be a wisecracker but also knows when to be serious and kind.

Pauline the feisty mantis.

A family of sinister rattlesnakes, though two of their offspring aren't so sinister.

Roger the German shepherd guard dog who is stoic, yet sarcastic at times.

Paige the teenage human girl who is gifted with the ability to talk to nonhuman animals (she calls her gift "Doctor Dolittle syndrome").

Other exhibits include Egypt, Pre-Columbian Art, Greece/Rome, fossils, renaissance art, a cafeteria (for guests to eat at), a Climax movie theater (parody of Imax), and more.

Our main trio will be something like The Three Stooges or Ed, Edd, n Eddy, or any other iconic comedy trio.

Along with standard episodes, we'll also have big specials/movies. Including holiday specials, focusing on Valentine's Day, Presidents' Day, St. Patrick's Day, April Fool's Day, Independence Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, and more.

Maybe also specials where our heroes encounter an alien invasion, and one where they go with Paige on a trip to Japan.

And, dare I predict, a full-length feature film released in theaters!

I'll be uploading some concept art soon.

Hey, everyone! I just wanted to say that something very interesting has been anounced.

But first let me tell you something related to the subject at hand.

Last month, during my Christmas special-watching spree, I watched Bah, Humduck! A Looney Tunes Christmas, an entertaining new spin on A Christmas Carol from 2006. It's about Daffy Duck as an arrogant, greedy CEO of a superstore, overworking his staff, especially during the holidays. But the ghosts of of Christmas Past, Present, and Future (played by Granny & Tweety, Yosemite Sam, and Taz) show him what he's doing wrong, which encourages Daffy to change his ways.

Again, it's your average retelling of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, but with a pretty entertaining new take.

However, around this same time, I found out that something even bigger from Looney Tunes is just around the corner.

Now, in general we've been getting some new reimaginings with the classic line-up of characters lately, like the TV series Wabbit/New Looney Tunes, Looney Tunes Cartoons, Bugs Bunny Builders, and that pretty disappointing sequel to Space Jam.

However, we are now getting a spinoff movie to the Pete Browngardt-produced Looney Tunes Cartoons from 2020. A film that is coming soon... to theaters! That's right! The first fully animated non-compilation feature film in the Looney Tunes franchise to receive a theatrical release! And one of the few returns of 2D to the Western big screen that we've been seeing a few times lately.

It's called The Day the Earth Blew Up, and it will be mostly about Daffy and Porky as try to work with together (even though they can't stand each other) in order to stop an alien invasion.

We don't have a precise release date yet, but we do know it's going to be in the second quarter of 2024.

So, what do you all think?
